Rio I Am

I am a fun loving kid who likes sports

I wonder what kids around the world feel like

I hear kids outside playing

I see the plants and trees outside

I would like to travel the world

I  pretend that, well i don't really pretend

I feel the comfort of the people around me

I touch the trees the grass the leaves

I worry about all the hate in the world

I understand that everyone is special in their own way

I say that i will do the best that i can in all i try

I dream of traveling the earth in peace

I try to do well to everyone i meet

I hope that hatred will stop altogether

4th of July

On the night of the 4th of July I was laying on the wet prickly grass by a lake in Sacramento, the fireworks exploding  far above my head.  The colors were so amazing. There were lots of different fireworks ones that exploded in circles, and many others too.  The sound of the fireworks exploding was so loud it hurt my ears and seemed to shake the ground like thunder.  It was a great night and I hope that I can do it again next year.
