1) Describe the conditions in the prison. Why do you think children would be locked up there?
The prison was hot, or as they say in the book a furnace, it was dark, crowded with cages piled upon each other, and the children and men alike looked like they never got fed. I think the children are locked up because they tried, or succeeded, to steal something, or they could have gotten into fights.
2) How were Olivia and Gardo able to get a visit with Olondriz?
Olivia and Gardo got a visit with Olondriz because they bribed the prison by paying them 10,000 pesos, about $1,000, which the guards thought was a good price because it was usually 15,000 pesos.
3) What were the few things that Raphael learned about Rat that he "had never known and never asked about?"
Rapheal found out that Rat had stored up some extra money so that he could move away from Behala.
4) What would you do with six million dollars?
If I had $6million then I would probably buy some stuff now like an iPad, a computer and some others but I would save the rest for when I was older and needed stuff such as a house, a car, and stuff like that.
